Welcome and join us for the next Poly Discussion group, starting at 7:00 PM at the DC Center, 2000 14th Street NW Suite 105. We meet on the third Thursday of the month.
What is polyamory, you may ask! Polyamory is the practice, desire, or acceptance of having more than one intimate relationship at a time with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. This group is designed to be a forum for people at all different stages to discuss polyamory and other consensual non-monogamous relationships.
Newcomers will be given a basic introduction into what polyamory is and what some of the advantages and disadvantages are. Attendees who are already in relationships will be given the opportunity to discuss their situations and get advice from the group if they feel that would be helpful. This group is open to people of all sexual orientations and people who are interested in non-monogamy in both kinky and non-kinky relationships.

I’ve gone to some “straight” polyamory groups and found no common connection to the dynamic I could imagine and have tried to navigate in a gay men’s poly-amorous relationship. I thought this group might be that. As I looked at attendance to some of the past events, I see this group might not be…or at least hasn’t yet tapped gay men considering or experiencing polyamory. Perhaps I can do something to help get that segment involved or even as a side group to begin. Let’s chat
HI Marc,
Thank you for reaching out to the DC Center for the LGBT Community. The next poly discussion group is tomorrow. Feel free to come and share your thoughts!
