Elder Think Tank

The Elder Think Tank is a program of the DC Center made up of a broad spectrum of volunteers. Our mission is to provide support and advocacy for the aging GLBT populations of the DC metropolitan area and those who provide services to them. The mission is accomplished through identification of needs and concerns, and provision or facilitation of education and training. For more information call the center or e-mail

Older Wiser Lesbians (OWLS) - Social group for lesbians living in the metroDC and Baltimore areas. This fee-based membership organization sends a monthly newsletter of activities for lesbians over the age of 35.

Whitman-Walker Clinic Over-50 Groups - Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit, community-based provider of health care in the Washington DC metropolitan area. WWC Lesbian Services Program (LSP) holds a monthly peer group for LBT women over age 50 (call 202-797-3586 for information) and Gay Men's Peer Counseling offers a peer support group for gay men over 50 (call 202-797-3592 for information).
