Capital Pride is the annual celebration of the LGBT community in the Nation’s capital. Traditionally held the over the first full week of June each year, the Capital Pride program serves residents and visitors to the Washington DC metropolitan area.

DC Center Outreach at Pride Festival

We are in need of volunteers to staff our outreach booth at Capital Pride. Volunteers will hand out material, collect e-mail addresses, and talk to visitors about services and programs at the DC Center.

The Capital Pride Festival takes place Sunday, June 10, 2012 on historic Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, in front of our national capitol. You can sign up for a volunteer shift online. You can sign up for a morning or afternoon shift, or volunteer to drive materials to and from the DC Center.
