On Thursday November 29th, Brave Soul Collective (BSC) in conjunction with The DC Center will present, "FACING IT - Encounters of an Epidemic", an evening of theatre in honor of World AIDS Day 2012, which will focus on HIV/AIDS and the many ways that the epidemic continues to affect the lives of individuals, communities, and the world at large.

Volunteers would be much appreciated for this event! They will help set up for the event, greet people at the door, and take money for admission.

"FACING IT" which features all new, original works written by playwrights - Alan Sharpe, Jared Shamberger, Barbara Asare-Bediako, Thembi Duncan, & Monte J. Wolfe, will take place at the Thurgood Marshall Center, 1816 12th Street NW.
