lgbtkenya.jpgJames and Cyrus are a young gay couple who recently came to the United States seeking political asylum. They are working with Immigration Equality which has set them up with a lawyer to work on their case.

The challenge however, is that they are in a new country, cannot yet legally work, and have depleted their financial resources in their first month.

One of the first things James and Cyrus did when they got to Washington DC is get married. You helped make Marriage Equality possible in DC, and with a little more help from you, James and Cyrus will be well on their way to building a new life here in the United States.

RECEPTION FOR JAMES AND CYRUS

I invite you all to come to the DC Center next Friday, September 21st from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a reception for James and Cyrus. This will give you a chance to meet them and learn more about their story.

The suggested donation for this event is $10. All money raised will go towards their living expenses until they get their official asylum status.

CLICK HERE NOW to make your donation.
