careerdevelopment1.gifChase Brexton Health Services, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Improvement Manager at their Baltimore, MD location. A Baccalaureate degree in nursing, allied health or healthcare management is required. Certification as a Healthcare Quality Professional (CPHQ) is strongly desired. RN preferred.

Responsibilities: Coordinates all Quality Improvement activities within the organization including improvement of clinical and non-clinical processes. Assists the Senior Management Team in developing the Strategic Scorecard, then maintains it and prepares it for publication throughout the year. Designated person to collect, respond to, direct, aggregate and report patient feedback (compliments, complaints, & suggestions), Designated person to accept and manage incident reporting and sentinel events, including aggregating and reporting to appropriate organizational committees. Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports data regarding Process Improvement projects, including coordinating and reporting on the Patient Satisfaction Surveys (PSATs). Designated organization contact for the Joint Commission, including maintaining the process of perpetual readiness in preparation for the survey and responding to required reports and communiqués from the Joint Commission. Makes application for and maintains NCQA Recognition for Patient Centered Medical Home.

Daily contact with executive, administrative, and clinical staff; patients; and patients' families. Frequent contact with external agencies, such as staff of CHIP, CHIP centers, and the Joint Commission. Occasional contact with external vendors, NCQA and the Joint Commission.
