Hello, my name is Lindsey White and I am thrilled to be a part of The Center Arts internship program at The DC Center. I earned a B.F.A from The Maryland Institute College of Art and am now looking forward to pursuing my passion for the visual arts. Currently, I'm a self-employed Visual Merchandiser designing store front window displays and kiosks throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Before that I was a physical education/health teacher for middle school kids and coached soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Being an athlete and artist my whole life, I thrive in a team environment. In my free time I like to work out, travel and spend time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to these next few months and to gain a more hands on experience in a small art community.
