Interested in chapbooks and publishing? Want to learn how to stitch your very own chapbook? Come to the DC Center this Thursday night at 6:30pm to learn about chapbook production, stitching, and more from Center Arts' own intern, Lin Wang. Discuss publishing while stitching Stoked, the DC Center's very own chapbook.

This workshop will be an invaluable tool in learning how to design and self-publish your own chapbooks; don't miss it!

Stoked is a work of local and international queer voices coming together in Washington, DC after The 2nd Capturing Fire Slam and Summit. Documenting spoken word poetry happens on YouTube. This work takes back literature to the hand-stitched art of book making. These words are gutsy, the poets colorful and the themes of gender, identity, pop culture and biography continue to ignite, incite and rock the marble of our nation's capital.

For more information or to preorder the book ($10), contact Lin Wang at lin@thedccenter.org.
