Stein Club Capital Pride Reception/Happy Hour:

Please join the Gertrude Stein Democratic Club for a Pride Reception/Happy Hour on Monday, June 11 at Mova from 6-8 pm. The Theme of the reception is: "A Stein Pride Happy Hour: Celebrating President Obama for His Commitment to Equality." There will be cake and a champagne toast to honor President Obama. This event will serve as the unofficial culmination of Capital Pride. Mova is located at 2204 14th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009. There will be drink specials of two for one premium well, premium wine, and beer before 8 pm. Admission to this event is $10.

Capital Pride Parade:

The Stein Club will be marching in the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 9 and we are looking for members to march with us! The parade starts at 4:30 pm. If you are interested in marching with us in the parade, please email Lateefah Williams at president@steindemocrats.org.

Capital Pride Festival:

The Stein Club will have a booth at the Capital Pride Festival on Sunday, June 10 from 11 am- 6 pm. Please be sure to stop by our booth! Also, if you want to volunteer for a two-hour shift at the booth, please email Lateefah Williams at president@steindemocrats.org.
