
Mark Brown II will be featured at the DC Queer Theatre Festival. A staged reading of his play, for colored queer boys who considered giving up when giving yourself wasn't ever enuf directed by Alvin Ford Jr., will take place on Saturday May 19th at the DC Center for the LGBT Community.
About the Play: With poetry and song, queer men of color tell their stories and share their heartbreak and triumph. Interwoven through this tapestry of loss and learning is a hope that propels the characters and audience to a brighter future.
