The goal of "SlutWalk" is to bring together people of all genders, ages, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and economic statuses to create a dialogue and bring an end to attitudes that normalize victim blaming and slut shaming in our culture. Center Board Member Denise Bump will be representing the Center at the 2nd annual Slut Walk DC. The event takes place on August 11, 2012 from 11am-2pm and will include speakers and the march itself. SlutWalk D.C. 2012 will begin in Lafayette Square and march down 15th St, NW to the Washington Monument. Speakers and tables will be at the Sylvan Theatre Stage.
