The DC Center is proud to welcome Jason Laney to the DC Center Board of Directors. Jason is one of eight new board members that begin their term this month.
A native of Asheville, NC, Jason Laney moved to the Washington, DC area in 2004 after graduating from college to work for AARP. He brings to the DC Center numerous years of non profit and association management experience in the arenas of convention planning, membership development, and marketing and communications. He has also been involved in a volunteer capacity with many local organizations including the American Association of Association Executives, Smithsonian Young Benefactors and the Human Rights Campaign.
He looks forward to continuing his involvement in a fundraising and development capacity with the Center in working with other board members and volunteers in increasing the resources available to the organization.
