Join us for our monthly Open Mic Night featuring Andrew Fogle on Friday, Feb. 3 from 8:00 p.m.-10 p.m. at the DC Center for the LGBT Community.

Fogle is a DC-based cultural interloper who occasionally gets paid to write things. Through his editorial positions at TheNewGay.net and OutrageDC, he's helped to cultivate, expand, and interrogate the local queer scene. He is a member of the gay arts collective Boys Be Good, whose latest show, "SOLIPISSY," featured his work.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come prepared to share their work. This event is free and open to the public;however, five dollar donations are suggested at the door.

At the DC Center Open Mic Nights, there is something for everyone. Check out a few of our past open mic sessions on the Center Arts You Tube Page.(www.youtube.com/centerarts) You'll find some great performances by local artists like: Natalie Illum, Jeremy Pace, and Regie Cabico. Open Mic Night normally takes place the first Friday of every month.

The DC Center is Located at 1318 U St, NW, Washington, D.C., 20009. The DC Center is a short walk from the U Street/ African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Metro.
