The DC Center is looking for dedicated citizens of the District of Columbia to testify at the DC Public Schools and Child and Family Services Agency Hearings in the coming months.This is an opportunity to speak out about the injustices done against LGBT Youth by the DC Public Schools and the Child and Family Services Agency. Topics to testify could range from the need for anti-bullying legislation in the District to advocating for more community education on issues facing LGBT Youth in the foster care system.

The DC Public Schools hearings will begin at 11:30am on March 28, 2012 and will take place in Council Chamber Room 500. If you are interested in testifying email Priscilla McIver at pford@dccouncil or reach her by phone at 202.724.8196.
