The DC Coalition, The Gertrude Stein Democratic Club, and the DC Center invite LGBT individuals and organizations to join us at the Martin Luther King Junior Holiday Parade. We will be marching in the parade together as one LGBT contingent. Other LGBT organizations are encouraged to march with us and bring signs and banners reflecting their organizations.
The Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Parade takes place Monday January 16th. Lineup for the parade will start at 9:30 AM, and the parade begins at 11:00 AM. The parade begins at Friendship Public Charter School, 645 Milwaukee Place Southeast. The parade will end at Leckie Elementary School, 4201 Luther King Jr. Ave, SW.
