centerdeaf.pngThe Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind (D/HH/DB) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Community Needs Assessment process has begun. The DC Center in collaboration with the Deaf Abused Women's Network (DAWN), Deaf Queer Kaleidoscope, Gallaudet University with sponsorship from Access Interpreting is facilitating a D/HH/DB LGBT community needs assessment for the DC Metro Area. Today's stakeholder meeting was the first of several community meetings that will be held in order to get community input on the strengths and needs of the D/HH/DB LGBT community.

We will be hosting a community forum in January for the D/HH/DB LGBT community. If you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind & Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and/or Transgender we need your input! Visit this page again for updates on the D/HH/DB needs assessment. We will also be posting the assessment survey here when it is developed in March of 2012.
