The DC Center Honors Rick Rosendall

Richard "Rick" Rosendall is a free-lance writer and activist in the District. He is currently the Vice President of Political Affairs for the Gay and Lesbian Activist Alliance (GLAA) and his long time participation and leadership of that group has contributed to the passage of most of the LGBT civil rights laws in the District of Columbia in the past three decades. In 1981, Rick was one of the co-founders of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington. He is a founding member of the NAACP-DC Metropolitan Police and Criminal Justice Review Task Force. Rick's columns have appeared in numerous gay publications including Bay Windows, The Washington Blade and Metro Weekly.
