You're invited to An Evening with Colage. Please join COLAGE friends, families and supporters in the Metro DC area to celebrate the work that people with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) parents do to create a world that treats all families with dignity and respect.

Hear from Executive Director, Beth Teper, about recent COLAGE accomplishments and how you can help youth with LGBTQ parents advocate for themselves and their families in 2011/2012. Emily Hecht-McGowan, Director of Public Policy at Family Equality Council, will give a brief preview of the upcoming report, All Children Matter, authored by Movement Advancement Project (MAP) , Family Equality Council, and the Center for American Progress (CAP) with contributions from COLAGE.
Honoring Alison Delpercio, COLAGE Metro DC Chapter Coordinator
Alison Delpercio is a longtime COLAGE volunteer and LGBTQ family advocate. She has served as the coordinator of the Metro DC Chapter of COLAGE for 3 years and as a COLAGE facilitator at Family Week in Provincetown, MA, providing community, education and support for youth with LGBTQ parents in the capital area and throughout the Northeast U.S.
Alison is the manager of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation Family Project, where she advocates for LGBT equality in the fields such of child welfare, education and healthcare.
Children are welcome to attend, and are encouraged to bring bathing suits
for swimming if weather permits. Wine, Beverages & Light Food Served. Proceeds to benefit COLAGE National and COLAGE Metro DC.
