Did you know that in 2006 Hispanic/Latino men who have sex with men represented 72% of new HIV infections among all Hispanic/Latino men, and nearly 19% among all men who have sex with men? Help spread awareness about the serious threat that the HIV/AIDS epidemic presents to the Hispanic/Latino communities in the United States by observing National Latino AIDS Awareness Day.
This year National Latino AIDS Awareness Day will be held on Saturday, October 15th. The National Latino AIDS Awareness Day Campaign works year round to promote HIV testing, provide HIV prevention information, and provide access to care to Hispanic/Latino communities. This year's theme is "Latino's Unite! Let's Stay Healthy! Get Tested for HIV!"
