Be sure to join us on Wednesday, September 9th for the monthly Capital Area AIDS Prevention Effort (CAAPE) meeting. CAAPE is a volunteer panel of individuals from the general public and from the diverse communities affected by AIDS. Usually, CAAPE meets the third Monday of the month, but in our last meeting we covered a lot of ground and we do not want to lose momentum, so we're meeting earlier than usual too keep up the good work!
At the next CAAPE meeting, we will be discussing topics remaining from our last meeting, such as plans for the Fall, and discussing the Recommendations for Community Involvement packet and summary given out at the meeting on August 15th. (If you were not at the last meeting, and would like a copy of these documents, please contact brant@thedccenter.org.)
CAAPE is organized to assist and advise HIV prevention research in the metropolitan DC area. All members of the community are invited to join. Visit us on the web at www.aidsvaccine.org.
