100 establishments have been visited.
70 establishment were non-compliant with DC regulations.
63 establishments have been reported to the DC Office of Human Rights.
53 establishments have been followed up with by the DC Office of Human Rights.
36 establishments have received a Director's Inquiry.
65 establishments have changed their signs as a result of corporate change brought on by the DC Center's and DC Transgender Coalition's efforts
99 establishments total have changed their restroom signs as a result!
The Bathroom Access Project is dedicated to informing business owners about Chapter 8, of Title 4 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations, which reads, "All entities covered under the Act with single-occupancy restroom facilities shall use gender-neutral signage for those facilities..."
