On Wednesday July 14th, The DC City Council Committee on Aging and Community Affairs, chaired by Yvette Alexander, held an oversight roundtable to discuss the recently released report on lesbian, gay, and bisexual health in the District of Columbia prepared by the Mayors Office of GLBT Affairs. Organizations that gave testimony included the DC Center, The DC Trans Coalition, Transgender Health Empowerment and Latinos en Accion. Most of the testimony focused on the exclusion of transgender individuals from the health report.
