Alan Dinsmore, Vice-Chair of the DC Center Elder Think Tank, testified at the performance oversight hearing for the Office on Aging on Wednesday, February 24th.  This marks the second year the Elder Think Tank has participated in the performance oversight hearing.

The hearing was chaired by Yvette Alexander, chair of the DC City Council Committee on Aging and Community Affairs.

At their February meeting, the DC Center Elder Think Tank voted to become an affiliate of SAGE (Services of and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Elders).

IThe Elder Think Tank will discuss a possible name change at their next meeting. The next Elder Think Tank Meeting takes place Monday March 22nd at 6:30 PM at the DC Center, 1810 14th St. NW. The group normally meets the fourth Monday of each month.
