The Career Development program will continue this summer. Trained and experienced volunteer counselors will offer support with job searches, interviews skills, resume writing and individual career goal counseling. Interested individuals are invited to participate in a program presentation and training taking place every Monday.

When you're ready to quit smoking, we're ready to help. A new Freedom from Smoking program is starting up on Thursday, July 9th. DC residents can get free niccotine replacement therapy like the patch or gum.

On Thursday, July 23rd as C.D. Kirven reads from What Goes Around Comes Back Around. Sex, betrayal, hip-hop: this book is a story of a teenage girl's sexual awakening and self-discovery, set in a time when hi-top fades and KID-N-PLAY movies were hot.

The DC Center's Annual Fall Reception will take place on Thursday September 10th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Terence Gerace graciously offerred to host the reception at the Artists Inn Residence, located at 1824 R Street NW.
